Guided Walk
Gosport Discovery Centre, Gosport, PO12 1BT
Join local heritage guide, Dave Thompson, for a fascinating walk along the route of the former railway line linking Gosport to Stokes Bay, Royal Clarence Yard and the national network.
The walk takes in the architecture of some of the more interesting buildings and spaces which would have been visible from a railway carriage along the route. Stories come from the introduction of the railway, through two world wars, to the eventual closure of the line.
