Guided Walk

Meet outside St. Marys Church Parish Centre, Green Road, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 2ET

A walking tour of the village centre looking at research from 1901 Census.

Your Heritage Guide will tell you about some residents who appeared on the Census, together with their ultimate fate. Also learn about court cases involving local people and changes to the village at the start of a new century.

Narrow pavements in places so please follow Guide’s safety instructions along the route. Some small steps so not fully suitable for wheelchairs or buggies. May be challenging for people with mobility impairment so please contact us in advance of booking to discuss your needs. This walk is not suitable for young children.

On road parking can be full during church functions so allow yourself time to find parking in other nearby streets if need be. Refreshments, lunches, toilets available in local pub/hotel bar.
