A day of fun, entertainment and learning for all the family in the historic grounds of Stanley Park and in the Victorian Alverbank House Hotel too.
The recently formed ‘Friends of Stanley Park’ invite you to come and explore this beautiful open space and formal park area. They’ll be activities for children, some ecology and wildlife stalls, a chance to meet the author ‘The Road to Apple Dumpling Bridge’, crafting activities, and lots more….

No Booking Needed – Just turn up and enjoy
ACCESS
Some free parking by hotel, especially suitable for disabled or elderly visitors. Also lots of ‘pay to park’ spaces on the main bay road. Close to X5 and 9/9a bus routes. The Alverbank offers a wide range of refreshment/food throughout this time. Bar snacks, full meals, afternoon teas, and delicious ice creams are all available to purchase.
