Explosion! the Museum of Naval Firepower, Royal Naval Armament Depot, Priddys Hard, Heritage Way, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 4LE

Enjoy a fascinating display of radio controlled model boats and tanks, with the use of pyrotechnics! Presented by the Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team.

There will also be a large static display of models of all types with model building projects and hints and tips for aspiring modellers young and old.

Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team is affiliated with the National Museum of the Royal Navy, and has a permanent clubhouse within the historic grounds of Explosion! at Priddy’s Hard Armament Depot.

Please note: Entry to Explosion Museum is not part of this event, but it will be open for visitors at the usual fee. The cafe and toilets are available.

DIRECTIONS

The Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team clubhouse is located at the main entrance to the Explosion Museum site at Priddy’s Hard, Gosport. Follow the national heritage brown signs for “Explosion” on the main A32 road into Gosport.
