The World’s Only Hovercraft Museum!

IN PERSON

Show / Display

The Hovercraft Museum, Marine Parade West, Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire, PO13 9NS

A great visit for serious enthusiasts and families who just want to have fun! An ideal base for a day out, with views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight. An extensive collection of Hovercraft, including the World’s Largest Commercial hovercraft.

At the Hovercraft Museum, we have lots of things to see and do for all ages.

Solely operated by volunteers, the Hovercraft Museum is a working museum; constantly restoring, preserving and maintaining the craft in our care. During the visit, you’ll see some of that work in progress. We have over 55 craft in the collection at present. Many, such as The Princess Anne, BH7, SRN5, and SRN6s, can be boarded and experienced first-hand!

Where else in the World will you find this? Nowhere!

Whilst with us, why not enjoy refreshments in our cafe and explore our range of unique items in our gift shop?

Please note: last visitor entry at 1500 to allow for 1600 site closure.
