The Hovercraft Museum’s collection is unique, irreplaceable, and inspiring, including five craft listed on The National Historic Ships register. It’s a great visit for fact-loving enthusiasts and also families who just wanna have fun…
Situated on a Transport Heritage Site, the museum has over 50 Hovercraft on display including military, commercial, multi-purpose, rescue, survey, exploration, racing, fun and recreational. In size, they range from the smallest to the largest commercial car carrying hovercraft in the world.

Access
Most of the site is flat and accessible for wheelchair and pushchairs, although access to some exhibits is via a few small stairs. The toilets are located on the ground floor.

Directions
The museum is situated on Marine Parade West which offers free parking along the seafront and there is usually plenty of parking available for cars and coaches. Solent Ranger X5 bus route that runs between Gosport and Southampton via the Richmond Road bus stop (2 minutes walk to the museum).
