Looking at our 2022 programme you can decide which guided walks you’d like to go on, most are wheelchair accessible and marked in the programme, which historic buildings you’d like to discover and which Royal Navy Submarine or Explosion! event you’ll choose.
This year there are 11 new events to choose from – whether it’s Yachting History in a walk from Endeavour Quay, a history walk from Hardway to Elson or a tour and talk about brewing at the Powder Monkey Brewery or a talk on the Gosport Skyline at the Hovercraft museum, there’s something for everyone.
Bookable family events include a walk around Royal Clarence Yard on feeding the Navy, a discovery walk in the Passageways and Alleys of Gosport High Street, an explore around HMS Medusa, a D-Day survivor and three events at HMS Sultan.
This year the ever popular Fort Blockhouse and Haslar Hospital visits are available, possibly for the last time, so do put the 20 August in your diary and visit our Countdown to booking blogs, daily until 20 August.
