Join us for free refreshments at our hall and enjoy a modest exhibition of Henry Cook’s legacy – founder of The Seamen’s Mission in Gosport.
Also, learn about a couple of extraordinary women of Gosport: Cook’s wife and daughter! Find out what they were involved in a century ago from an exhibit on 100 years of YWCA, temperance, suffrage and changing attitudes towards mental health.
Quiz sheets (all answers can be found on exhibition) for adults and children, with small prizes.
Chat to us over a cuppa in the relaxed atmosphere of Waterside Centre.
