Guided Walk
Meet outside the Gosport Tourist Information Centre (TIC), Bus Station, South Street, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 1EP
Walk along the Waterfront South area and over Haslar Bridge. Learn about the rich and varied history of the area, both innovative and dark. Discover features of Gosport High Street that are hidden in plain sight.
Head along the waterfront south and over Haslar Bridge to view the historical Fort Blockhouse and Submarine Museum.
Hold on to your hats as you head over ‘pneumonia’ bridge, to discover more about Haslar, its significance as a Naval Hospital, and the submarine training tower. On your return, you will discover Trinity Green, ‘Pressgang Alley’ and examine the sometimes overlooked features of the High Street. Look up and down to ensure you don’t miss anything!

ACCESS
There is Blue Badge parking in nearby car parks and accessible toilets by the Bus station. The High Street has many cafe’s and shops where you might purchase refreshments before/after walk. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring a drink.
