Walking the not so Hard Way! (Event from 2021)

Guided walk

Assemble at the entrance gate (north side on Heritage Way) to Explosion – The Museum of Naval Firepower., Royal Naval Armament Depot, Priddys Hard, Heritage Way, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 4LE

A walk around Hardway foreshore area.

During this walk you will be visiting : Priddys Hard ramparts (under restoration); Hardway slipways used for D Day embarkations; abandoned marine craft and their stories in Forton Lake.; Priddys Hard Coastal Common Nature Reserve and its wildlife.

Duration Approx 90 minutes

ACCESS

There are some rest points along the way. Please wear shoes suitable for walking; lightweight wet weather anorak or similar if needed. Please note this does not include entry to Explosion Museum, but their cafe and toilets are available. Also, there are two public houses on the line of the walk which offer refreshments and meals, should you wish.

Partially accessible Service dogs welcome rest stops refreshments
