Just sit back and enjoy as Jennifer Parker-Lummis fulfills her mission to make opera fun, informative and exciting. She’s often complemented with audience exclamations of “I didn’t think I liked Opera, but, I love what you do!”
Jennifer started singing as a child in Gosport and went on to study and hone her craft at South Downs and later The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Still living in Gosport, she now also works as a freelance Opera singer and vocal coach. She is a prolific performer and wows her audiences, singing an eclectic mix of Opera, Classical, and Musical theatre songs punctuated with amusing and heartfelt anecdotes.
Jennifer has written, directed, and performed 4 successful one-woman shows, and also regularly performs at civic functions and for The Armed Forces. She went to great heights when she gave the first Operatic performance at the top of the Spinnaker Tower!
During the pandemic, Jennifer took her show online, performing via Zoom, so as not to disappoint her fans.
For Heritage Open Days she will perform in the beautiful setting of Holy Trinity Church.
