IN PERSON
Activity
Stoke Road , Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 1LR
Stoke Road will be buzzing at this community-led Festival, as local independent businesses and groups bring fun and creativity to the day. Live music, good food, and free fun family activities await at this street party with something for all ages.
A special traffic-free area will allow people to safely wander whilst enjoying music, entertainers, and dancing in the street. They’ll be plenty of stalls to browse; a craft fair, and activities inside and outside shops run by local creatives. Plus, lots of lovely foods and drinks on offer…
The free music, craft, and artistic activities have been funded by a generous grant from The Arts Council with further funding from Gosport Borough Council, with the aim of bringing free arts and entertainment right into the heart of Gosport. All of the entertainers are from the local area and the entire event is being run by community volunteers who want to bring fun and vitality back to Stoke Road.
So, whether you’re a local resident or a visitor to Gosport, do come along (bring your family and friends) to enjoy the great atmosphere created by the community for the community in this historic part of our town.
Any of the 5,000 people who attended the community Platinum Jubilee Party in Stoke Road last year can attest to the fun they had, as can be seen in these photos…
