View a fine exhibition of handmade quilts created with a special theme in mind…
The Scrap Happy Quilters are people of all ages and backgrounds, brought together in Gosport by their mutual interest in handmade quilts.
Each year they set a challenge, where the members are given a subject and they make a quilt on that theme. The challenge quilts are then proudly displayed during Heritage Open Days, for all to enjoy.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the club this year, members were invited to each make a small quilt featuring the topic ‘25’. The mind boggles as to exactly what they’ll come up with but, as always, their skilled fingers will have created an exhibition full of inspiring imagery, glorious colours and very clever sewing.
Come along to view their work and see what you think…
Duration: Allow 30 minutes.
