Chinese whispers quilt challenge – how different will the last quilt be to the first?
A Chinese Whispers challenge involves groups of 4 quilters. The first quilter is given a theme or image by the Chair as the basis to make their quilt. They pass their finished item onto the second quilter who takes their inspiration from that quilt number 1. In turn, quilt number 2 is passed onto the third quilter, and so on until the fourth and last quilter has completed their interpretation. The first quilter is the ONLY person to know what the original image or theme was … so by quilt number 4 the finished image may be vastly different from the original idea!
We have used the theme of Extraordinary Women for our challenge – but which woman has been chosen? Come along to see if you can guess the identity of our Extraordinary woman from our Chinese Whisper Quilts.
