Show / Display

The Memorial Gardens, Haslar Hospital, Haslar Road, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 2FA

Explore Haslar Memorial Garden within the grounds of Haslar Hospital and find out about its history. See how Horticultural Therapy works for veterans.

Be at one with nature within the beauty of this special space, and see how horticultural therapy aids in the recovery of veterans with physical and mental health support needs.

The trees create wonderful canopies, and the wildflower meadow and flower beds are just a delight to the eyes and nose. A tasty array of edibles such as vegetables, fruit, and herbs are also grown here, and the bees are busy making honey.

Browse the craft stall full of items made by our veterans and volunteers. Perhaps have a cuppa and treat yourself to some delicious homemade cake before heading off having learned more about the benefits of being in nature.
