Little Anglesey Road, Stoke Lake, PO12 2HS
A lovely site in a lovely location, situated adjacent to Stoke Lake, Alverstoke, a leafy suburb of Gosport. It is believed the site has been in use for personal cultivation since the 1890s from its early origins as the Church Glebe. In more recent times the Church of England has adopted a more business like approach to land management , and in 2010 the Gosport Allotment Holders and Gardeners Association were invited to take up a tenancy and fully manage the site. Come along to this allotment and chat to gardeners working their plots. Allotment Association members will be available for horticultural advice.
