A band concert by the HMS Sultan Royal Naval Volunteer Band celebrating the heritage of HMS Sultan.
The band, as part of the Royal Naval Volunteer Band Association comprises musicians of all ages and abilities from within the Royal Navy and ships staff, their families and the local community who rehearse under the professional musical direction of the Band Officer Mr David Mathews to support local and national engagements.
The evenings programme is chosen to give an insight to the wide and varied history of the past ships and shore establishments called HMS Sultan and its present site in Gosport.
The Mayor, Keith Farr will be opening the concert
