Meeting point – Royal Navy Submarine Museum Carpark, Haslar Road, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 2AS
A guided walk, with especially descriptive talk along the way, designed for Visually Impaired persons (and their 2 or 4 legged helpers) to enjoy.
On this circular tour of the Haslar Peninsular, your Heritage Guide will ‘TalkAbout’ historic points of interest; describe the scenery and viewpoints; encourage people to explore tactile features; smell the sea air; and enjoy the flora and fauna along the way.
There will be a convenience/refreshment stop en route.

ACCESS
The route has been planned to take in dropped kerbs at road crossings. The route is approx 2 miles, so suitable footwear please. Ground surface is mainly concrete or pavement (with some undulations) and grass. Refreshments and toilets are available in The Submarine Museum grounds (close to start/end point); also at the Fighting Cocks Pub where there will be a short stop, and guide dogs will be able to access water and shade.
