How often do disasters occur? How many throughout history do we remember? What happens to those affected in such events long after the headlines?
Find out in this talk on Hampshire disasters where Richard Jones will tell you about local catastrophes and how we remember them today. People who remember any of the events are welcome to share their memories.
Richard is already a well-published author on wider disaster subjects such as ‘The Great Gale of 1871’, ‘Capsized in the Solent: the SRN6-012 Hovercraft Disaster’ and his latest ‘Royal Victoria Rooms:The Rise and Fall of a Bridlington Landmark’.
