Guided Walk
Hornet Services Sailing Club, Meet by entrance to the Submarine Museum car park, Haslar Road, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 2AG
During this walk, your heritage guide, Charlie, will introduce you to the history of HMS Hornet and its important role during wartime; Hornet Joint Services Sailing Centre, and Joint Services Adventure Sail Training Centre; and also the Victorian Gunboat Yard.
There will also be views and photo opportunities of the Submarine Alliance.
Please arrive 15 minutes before start time.
Duration approx. 120 minutes.

Some footpaths may be uneven. This is an open-air walk so please consider clothing and footwear suitable for terrain and weather. Toilets and refreshments are available nearby. Children over 14 years only please and should be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Additional information
This operational establishment is regularly used by serving members of our Armed Forces. Appropriate respectful visitor behaviour is expected. The site is patrolled by security guards whose directions and orders must be complied with.

Directions
Close to the RN Submarine Museum. Coming from Town, The Hornet Services Sailing Club is immediately on left as you come over the bridge. You will not be able to enter Hornet ‘security gate’ by car, so please park directly adjacent at the Submarine Museum car park and meet your Guide there. Your Guide will escort the whole group through to the Hornet site.
