Presentation

Discover the stories of Army Pilots from the past 100 years, in this online webinar led by Dan Ball from the Army Flying Museum

Ranging from the daring Royal Engineers in their balloons, the Victoria Cross recipients of the newly formed Royal Flying Corps to the daring missions of the Glider Pilot regiment, to the pilots of the modern Army Air Corps of today.

You’ll be able to view vintage news clips of the predecessors of the army air corps. You’ll also hear some stories about the aircraft and the people who flew them, and learn why they were pivotal to the development of the army’s air section from WW1, WW2 and through to the present day.
