IN PERSON
Activity
Brouhaha will bring an outstanding mix of science, nature, and art, with live music, madcap carnival and seafaring traditions to Gosport Town Centre…
Enjoy activities throughout the day at Walpole Park with live music, dance and much merriment, along with
opportunities for visitors to ‘have a go’ at a range of arts and crafts and explore things of interest and wonder with local experts.
Celebrating Gosport’s Heritage Open Day’s theme of invention, international carnival artists Shademakers, known for their dramatic “dancing sculptures”, will be leading a carnival procession through the town centre that will include some of their colourful creations most recently seen at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant in London.
Overall, it will all be a great showcase of creativity and the human and natural resilience of our coastal town. It is hoped that it will grow to become established as one of the biggest free art, science and nature celebrations by a local community.
As we emerge from extraordinary times Brouhaha will help to bring our community together and create moments that matter.
