Join Paige, founder of The Temple of Venus, for a viewing of “Seeds To Bloom” a fascinating insight in to some of the Women who have helped make Gosport what it is today, you may even see someone that you recognise.
During this documentary film, you will also be introduced to Mary Anne Atwood, a British writer and scholar that grew up in Gosport. Mary was deeply involved in the study of alchemy and Hermeticism, which lead to her writing “A Suggestive Inquiry Into The Hermetic Mystery” written at Bury House, Gosport in 1850.
There will also be a chance to meet the founder behind the documentary “Seeds To Bloom” and ask any questions that you may have.
The Temple of Venus is a Women and Girls collective in Gosport. Founded in June 2025 and has grown at an expediential rate putting on enriching experiences and community events for their ever-growing community. Receiving support from Gosport Borough Council, Hampshire Cultural Trust, Culture Connect.

There is some on-road parking. South Street Car Park is less than 5 mins walk away (2hr stay max). There is a Cafe on site, which also sells a range of unique gifts and art created by local makers.

Whilst at this venue, if you have time, consider also viewing the free displays within the Museum and Art Gallery. GMAG is run by Hampshire Cultural Trust. If you happen to miss this in person event, the documentary film will be available for viewing on the GHOD’s site throughout the festival.
