The Vine, 64 Stoke Road, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 1PA
Be transported back to a time of travel by tram, through a great presentation of postcards and photographs about the Gosport area…
Peter Greenaway is well-known locally for his wonderful photography of Gosport scenes, spanning over more than a few decades. There is not much he doesn’t have a postcard of, or has photographed himself; and not much that he doesn’t remember about back when…
In this presentation of images and descriptions, Peter focuses on local scenes from the bygone time of travel by tram, 1906 to 1929. His friendly style and humour tend to enthral an audience and stimulate memories.
