This presentation tells the story of the Royal Navy’s role in suppressing piracy during the ‘Golden Age’ of Caribbean pirates.
Mike Williams will be telling the story of the Royal Navy’s role in catching Pirates. We all know pirates could make a fortune robbing ships, especially Spanish ships full gold stolen from Inca people. But, what happened to these pirates, were they always caught and hung or did some escape capture. Mike will tell you story of a few of the more famous robbers like Bartholomew Sharp.
