Explosion! the Museum of Naval Firepower, Royal Naval Armament Depot, Priddys Hard, Heritage Way, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 4LE or Hovercraft Museum
A display of old buses which used to travel around the Gosport area between 1940 and 2000.
The Provincial Society are proud to host a display of Gosport’s famous green and cream Provincial buses at the Explosion Museum. Take a step back in time and meet the dedicated team of volunteers who restore and maintain historic preserved Provincial buses from the 1940’s to the 2000’s all of which have operated in the town. Subject to Covid restrictions visitors will be able to step on board to view the buses on display and possibly take a ride to experience the sights and sounds of bus travel from days gone by!
Duration: Allow 60 minutes.
Please note: Explosion Museum is not part of HODs, but it will be open for visitors at the usual charge.

ACCESS
Blue Badge Parking is available on site and accessible toilets are available within the café area of the Museum. Most of the buses on display are step entrance with no wheelchair access so may be unsuitable for some disabled visitors.
COVID-19 Considerations
This event will run in line with local & national government guidelines at the time of the festival.
