Your Submariner-Guide will give you a brief history of the site from Roman times to present day. You’ll also tour the former submarine base and visit the Submarine Escape Training Tank (SETT) where all submariners had to learn to escape through 100 feet of water.

View the paintings in the Officer’s Mess by distinguished artist, Harold Wylie. Cast your eyes up to the Lookout tower now used by the National Coastwatch Institution.
