Explosion! the Museum of Naval Firepower, Royal Naval Armament Depot, Priddys Hard, Heritage Way, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 4LE
A static display of heritage Provincial buses which used to travel around the Gosport area between 1940 and 2000.
The Provincial Society present a static display of heritage (Gosport & Fareham) Provincial buses in the Explosion museum Car Park. Climb on board and explore them. Talk to the owner/drivers about the history of the buses and how they preserve Provincial’s heritage.
And ‘Ding Ding! Hold Tight!’ for there will be some free rides throughout the day taking visitors around Gosport to experience a journey in an old bus. The bus stop will be located near the static display area in the car park.
- Sunday 9 September: 1030 – 1530
- Saturday 15 September: 1030 – 1530
- Sunday 16 September: 1030 – 1530
No Booking Needed
Wheelchair and pushchair access around the exterior of static displays only. Need to be fit and healthy to climb onboard heritage vehicles.
A maximum of 30 people per bus trip which lasts approximately 45 minutes.
