Holy Trinity Church, Trinity Green, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 1HL

Harmony is guaranteed at this concert, with an afternoon of song performed by members of the Morningtide WI Choir and Shoretones A Cappella group.

Based in Lee-on-the-Solent, the Morning Tide WI Choir recently sung on the stage of Portsmouth Guildhall as winners of the 2018 Hampshire WI Centenary Festival of Arts. The ladies of the choir sing a variety of well-known popular songs, mainly in two-part but sometimes three-part harmony, under the direction of Kathy Cooper and accompanied on the piano by Liz Marshall. Their programme will also include a few songs sung by a smaller section of the choir, who love to sing unaccompanied four-part harmony.

Shoretones A Cappella, which is formed by 6 members of the choir plus 3 friends, will also be appearing. They will be singing unaccompanied three-part harmony songs, including a small selection of Beatle songs.

Please arrive 10 mins before start to get settled in seating.

Duration approx: 60 minutes
