Leesland Park – past, present and future (Event from 2017)

Guided Walk

new events

Leesland Park, Whitworth Close/Daisy Lane, Gosport, PO12 3PF

Within the green and pleasant oasis that is Leesland Park, your Guide will explain some of the history of the site.

In the course of its regeneration, the Friends have tried to create areas of interest for all members of our community. Specialist zones include a sensory garden, community orchard, skate-park, children’s play area and conservation meadow. Within these zones you will find a number of interesting and unique points of interest. For example in the sensory garden look out for the ‘totem pole’ markers and sundial along with the ‘Green Man’ sentinel.

You’ll also hear about the popular annual community festival called ParkFest, and more on plans for the future…
