HMS Collingwood Heritage Collection

This is a digital event, accessible from your own location, HMS Collingwood, Fareham, Hampshire

A rare opportunity to take a ‘digital guided tour’ of the HMS Collingwood Heritage Collection.

The digital tour shows a selection of Royal Navy wireless and radar equipment from the late 1800s to the 1980s and includes an example of the first radar to go to sea in 1938. Over the years the Museum has been expanded to house captured German, Japanese and Russian military equipment as well as some commercial and domestic radios.
