The Clarence Tavern is one of the oldest “Coach Houses” in the South of England and one of Gosport’s original watering holes. It is well known for a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and its great range of real ales brewed locally. Your hosts say “You may enter a stranger, but you will leave a friend.”

People attending the Quiz might also wish to view the display of ‘Fragments of France’ collectable cards from WW1 (1914), drawn by prominent British cartoonist Captain Bruce Bairnsfather whose best-known cartoon character is ‘Old Bill’. You can view these amusing images whilst enjoying your favourite tipple any day 7th-10th Sept from 1400 to 2300 hours.
