Neil Marshall is a prolific and popular painter of local scenes from days past. In this 1 hr illustrated talk, he will tell you about some of the tricks of his trade.
Using his knowledge as a historian and skills as an artist, he specialises in recreating unique scenes using oil and acrylic paints. The research and planning which goes into each piece is extensive as Neil pours over old maps and tattered photos for accuracy and detail. And it can take him some 250 hours before he will declare a work finished!
