Meet at the end of Parham Road
Join the Coastal and Intertidal Zone Archaeological Network (CITiZAN) team for a guided walk at low tide among the collection of abandoned boats in Forton Lake.
The collection includes over 30 vessels of various shapes and sizes built roughly between the 1800s and 1960s. Hear some of their unique stories which illustrate the wide-reaching influence and significance of our maritime heritage both in Portsmouth Harbour and beyond.
This event is arranged and guided by the CITiZAN Discovery Programme Officer for Solent Harbours: Thérèse Kearns
