Lighting the way to D-Day
Visit the Royal Navy Submarine Museum throughout June to find out about the crucial role the X- class Submarines played in D Day.
The D-Day landings could have gone catastrophically wrong if it weren’t for these small craft who prepared the way for the thousands of vessels and servicemen who were to approach the Normandy beaches.
A short presentation will take place every Wednesday in June (5th,12th,19th,26th) at 1pm next to their very own midget submarine X-24.
